On a monthly basis artists gather to discuss and challenge each other in the pursuit of living creative lives that are a voice and testimony of who God is. It is a time of encouragement, inspiration and growth. Part of the evening is also spent working in, and learning, new mediums to give exploration opportunities to those who have never tried them before. THE GIFT OF ART Art Auction | September 16th from 7-9:30pm
We are taking on a new initiative this year that will not only serve to communicate important themes to our church family but also help to raise funds for next year's Scarlet Steps art exhibit at the Lancaster Quilt & Textile Museum. Each month, from October 2010 to August 2011, new theme-based artwork has been created by NewSong artists and displayed in our lobby. Some of the themes were racism, family, missions, prophecy and God's Word. Every piece of artwork is evidence of the creative gift that God has given each artist. Then, on September 16th, the art will be auctioned off at The Infantree Gallery in Downtown Lancaster.
